Rules, terms and privacy
These rules protect players, server owners, advertisers, and the integrity of the Toplands directory.
Accurate listings
Server owners must provide current, original, and truthful information. Rates, versions, launch dates, hosting locations, social links, monetization claims, and gameplay features must not be misleading. Toplands may request evidence, edit presentation, reject a submission, or remove outdated information.
Ownership and permissions
By submitting a server, you confirm that you are authorized to represent it and that you may publish the supplied text, logos, screenshots, and promotional artwork. You grant Toplands permission to display that material on listing, discovery, voting, and advertising pages.
Moderation and indexing
Submissions are reviewed before publication. Incomplete, copied, deceptive, unsafe, or low-quality pages may remain unpublished or excluded from search indexing. Verification confirms control of a listed website; it is not an endorsement of gameplay quality or administration.
Organic ranking and advertising
Organic position is determined independently from paid advertising. Sponsored cards, highlights, and banners are labelled and do not purchase votes or an organic rank. Campaign availability, pricing, refunds, and delivery terms are shown before checkout.
Voting and rewards
When voting launches, attempts to automate, sell, exchange, or manipulate votes may result in removal of votes, suspension, or delisting. Reward integrations must be idempotent and may only reward a vote confirmed by the Toplands backend.
Links, communities, and prohibited content
Listings may not distribute malware, impersonate another project, infringe third-party rights, promote fraud, hide redirects, or use social links unrelated to the submitted server. Owners remain responsible for the destinations they provide.
Account, privacy and data
Toplands stores account, listing, campaign, moderation, and security data needed to operate the service. Public profiles expose only approved listing information. Authentication, database, and file access are controlled through Firebase security rules.
Changes and contact
Rules may evolve as voting and paid campaigns launch. Material changes will use a new terms version and may require owners to accept the updated rules before editing or publishing a listing.
